110/10 Big Year Update – November

Bank Swallow
November, sweet November, you were so good to me. I started the month with 109 bird species for the
110/10 Big Year challenge, three more and almost a fourth was added to the month ending with 112.  The three new year-birds were a Green-winged Teal (Anas crecca) at WSR, Christ Church, Bank Swallow aka Sand Martin (Riparia riparia) at The Hope, St. Lucy, and a Killdeer (Charadrius vociferous) also seen in the parish of St. Lucy.
Killdeer
I gave up on the Photo Challenge and may give it a go in 2023. I still added a few images during the month, ending with 70 images.

Goals for December
I will see how far past the 110 species count I can go. The website ebird Target Species has suggested looking for Ruff (Calidris pugnax), Long-billed Dowitcher (Limnodromus scolopaceus), and
(Protonotaria citrea). So the goal is to finish the year with a bang!
