My main pursuit in 2023 was to improve my skill in capturing the beauty of birds with my camera, and I will continue with that quest in 2024. From the birding side of things, I would like to expand my local (261)and world (377) lifers list by at least 25 species, with at least 5 lifers from Barbados. A trip is planned for the latter part of the year, which should help with my world count. Some of the birds I am hoping to see in 2024 are Greater Scaup (Aythya marila), Little Stint (Calidris minuta), Western Reef-Heron (Egretta gularis)White-throated Sparrow (Zonotrichia albicollis)White-crowned Sparrow (Zonotrichia leucophrys) and Cooper's Hawk (Accipiter cooperii). So raise your binoculars, fellow adventurers, for 2024 promises a symphony of avian sights and sounds, where lenses gleam and feathers fly!
